Reupholster couch cushion

This old IKEA couch has been living with us about 17 years, the chinz flower faded with wear and use. and cushion cover was well worn and has wholes. in term of comfort, it is the best. soft and cushy , my kids love it and it embraces lots of childhood memories of their own, I just can not throw it away but fix it and make it useable and beautiful again.

see how did I achieve it?

1. well worn seat cushion, I reuse old linen curtain from IKEA for new cover.

2. cut curtain panel to the size of seat cushion.

3. reuse zipper from old cushion

4. many hours passed, finally sewing completed.

5. new and beautiful again.
