DIY 2: Dresser

I bought these cute butterfly drawer pulls from Pier 1 Imports, the 2 rope panels are also added and they do add a bit architecture look (using glue and nails)

Christmas look

Steps to get this look:

1. stripping old paint, make sure you have gloves on and protect your hands to be burnt, no kids and pets around :)

2. 1 coat of primer

3. apply wax in the area you would like to have distressed look, edge and corners etc..

4. apply 2 coats of paint, wait for 1st paint to dry before to apply 2nd coat

5. use fine sandpaper to sand off the area you applied wax to expose wood. for worn look.

6. add bit water to amber craft paint and use soft cloth to wash paint the area it may collect dust,

7. apply clear wax to protect the paint
