DIY 1. cupboard

  • Jun 7, 2016
  • 1 min read

I bought this furniture from a thrift store. it costed me 100$ + 65$ delivery, then additional 85$ for paint and wax. it is the first piece I painted on my own. stripping old paint is a messy and labor intensive job, but the final result turned out great. all my effort is worthy of it. but I forgot taking picture before the paint was stripped out. it is how it looks when paint is gone.

after one coat of primer.

it is final look after applying depressing techniques , amber paint wash and waxing, sanding.

A thrift store cupboard is transformed from a junky look to a shabby chic beauty.

o shabby chic look.
